Maskon’s new fish pump provides gentle and fully automatic transport of live fish.
Maskon’s fish pump system ensures a steady supply of fish. Automation regulates the addition of water, so that the fish tank is not flooded.
How does it work?
- The pump automatically ensures a steady transport speed and an even amount of fish regardless of the level in the tank. The system also maintains the level in the tank.
- The set point on the quantity sensor is controlled by the amount of fish in the buffer tank, but can also be controlled by the operator during sorting/moving of fish.
- If air enters the pump, it is automatically primed.
- A sensor can also be added to monitor the level in the tank, allowing the system to be used for regulating water level in the tank during production breaks (e.g. after the end of the day/overnight).
